Bring on the Stripes! Fun lines shine your Christmas card, even if they are not traditional colors for the Holiday. I enjoyed using our Simply Scored Scoring Tool to create fun lines on the Crumb Cake layout, they are so much fun to create to go against the stripes on the background DSP.
I used Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper as a background for the tree and the star. What do you think?
Scraps & Stamps TIP:
– If you DO want the outline of the Framelits to stay on the layer make sure to cut out the image with the “front” side of the layer facing UP to meet the “raised-side” of the Framelits.
– If you DO NOT want the outline to show on the front side of the layer, make sure to face the front side DOWN, away from the raised-side of the Framelits to give you a clean look to use your non-cut layout on the card.
– I used Holiday Collection Framelits for these cute tree and star shape. It is fun to mix/match the shapes from the coordinating Framelits set. Easy Peasy!
– Simple sentiment goes a long way! Try out the NEW Wondrous Wishes Stamp Set from the Holiday catalog. It is elegant and cute at the same time.
