Hello! We always look for different ways to get more out of our stamps whenever we craft. In today’s tutorial, I am sharing 5 different ways you can use one stamp set to quickly create clean and simple holiday cards within just minutes! Today’s post is to celebrate the newest release by Altenew for September, along with lots of project photos I am about to share you will also have a chance to enter into two different giveaway! (What better way to shop some new products?)
Let’s go ahead and start with a video tutorial! You can watch how each of the 5 cards I am sharing comes to life with just a few steps.
I am focusing solely on creating quick, simple and easy cards while still adding touches of elegance to these cards. The holiday season can be busy and creating multiple cards can be very daunting. so hopefully today’s tutorial gives you at least one idea to make your holiday card prep easier and quicker!
Let’s start with the poinsettia background. All the cards created for today’s post uses the same technique, creating a background with 1 stamp image (or 2 for layering ones) and creating unique cards easily. For this card, I used two poinsettia layers, Coral Bliss ink and Heart Beat ink for layering.
For the next card, I went all blue! It is so much fun to create cards with some non-traditional colors for the holidays.
This Holiday Bow Stamp Set has 3 layer images for creating beautiful bows and I chose 2 of the layers for this card. Used Turquoise and Tide Blue for the layering and paired a sentiment from the Festive Poinsettia Stamp Set.
You can use all three bow layers from the set, but I thought using the two would be just good enough to add details and keep the card simple.
Next one is all about leaves and berries! I love that this stamp set has various leaves and branches to create floral arrangements or wreaths, and these foliage images are also perfect for the background.
Instead of using the image for all over background look, I stuck to the right portion of the card to leave some white space. This also creates a nice attention-grabbing point for the sentiment. I used Olive, Heart Beat, and Jet Black inks on this card.
3rd card is another favorite of mine, the berry branches! I think the red really stands out and while keeping the card clean and simple, it has lots of eye-catching elements on the card. Heart Beat and Dark Chocolate for the berries and the branches, and the sentiment was stamped with Jet Black.
On to the last card! (Sorry for so many photos!)
I think this has to be the definite fav of mine. I love the boldness and the cleanness feel of the card. This was created using the pine leaves and a sentiment. You could easily make this either the masculine card or just a card for anyone regardless of the gender!
I hope you enjoyed looking through all the cards I have created to share! Let me know by commenting below – which one is your favorite?? I’d love to hear your favs!
