Hello and welcome to the Create A Smile Sending Sunshine Kit Video Hop! So glad you are joining us, we have awesome designers that are sharing fun video tutorials!Β

Sending Sunshine Kit - Video Hop Intro Graphic

The Sending Sunshine Kit is packed with awesome goodies and will go live for you to order starting May 16th 2am EST.

I wanted to create something simple yet has lots of fun on the card. There is an Ice Cream Die that comes in the kit, so I used that to create a focal point of the card. Since ice cream has lots of textures and shapes, I thought using some Texture Paste would be so much fun.

I won’t get into too much detail here since you can watch the video above (and I recommend you do so!) but I used couple of Distress Inks to create those colored Texture Paste: Gathered Twigs, Worn Lipstick, and Tumbled Glass. You will be able to learn how to mix those colors together in the video as well.

One of the things I really love about the kit is the color scheme. CAS chose great color palettes that work together nicely. Their patterned papers are so scrumptious! I used one of them as a background paper for my card front.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my tutorial and checking out the project photos. All the supplies used in this project are listed right below.

I am the last stop for the video hop, so if you just started hopping along with us, you can go to the very first stop of the hop which is Create A Smile blog. There is also a GIVEAWAY that you can enter to win this very kit! Don’t miss it!
