Soft coloring can give your project simplicity but bring unique characters to it. I prefer less coloring than full coloring when it comes to empty images. I decided to emphasize Santa Clause and his armchair to pop out the main image.
I used Wondrous Wishes Stamp Set for the main image. Different colors were used to give subtle effect on the canvas. Blender Pen is my favorite tool to color, it blends the colors naturally while not wetting the paper too much.
Scraps & Stamps TIP:
– Use the “brush” side of markers to release colors to your palette.
– You can also use the inkpad instead of markers, simply press the top of your pad few times and when you open up the pad you will see the colors were released on the bottom lid of the pad. Use that as your color palette.
– Acrylic blocks can be your favorite color palettes when using markers. They are easy to clean and simple to use.
