Hi! If you have been following me for a while (if you haven’t, what have you been doing?? Follow me on Instagram and Youtube channel!), you know that I love watercoloring and also love doing water-splattering technique.
When doing water-splattering, you can never exactly know what results you would get and I think that’s the beauty of it. So for today’s project, I am going to share how to create a watercolor piece using this technique!
After you add splatters onto a watercolor, you are going to spray clean water and let the water to all the blending work! It is very easy to do and fun to watch. I highly recommend letting it dry naturally, you will get a nicely blended and dried watercolor piece.
Embrace white spaces on your watercolor paper – I did not cover up the whole area with pigments. I like leaving white spaces on my projects because they help your colors stand out even more.
Don’t you just love the intense and beautiful color combination? I hope you give it a try!
