Happy Thursday! Today, I have 2 different cards to share with you using one stamp set, a die, and just a few supplies. These are a part of a brand-new release by Altenew and I am excited to share what I’ve created!

With so many areas dealing with cold temperatures, snow, and lots of rain, I thought it would be refreshing to see some spring related projects. So I chose a flower stamp set and created very CAS cards that you might enjoy!

I fell in love with the Dotted Blossom stamp set the moment I saw this month’s stamp/die/stencil release products. I thought this would be perfect to not only do CAS layering but also fun to do some heat embossing!

I stamped the outlined and main image with Jet Black ink pad, and heat embossed the layering images with gold embossing powder. I thought the contract would be great and the embossing would add more texture to the card.

For the background, I added a few splatters using the Antique Gold Ink Spray. This is great for adding some matched colors to your cardbase while keeping the rest of the card still clean while allowing the focal point to shine easily.

I played around with a different color scheme, and if you have been following me for a while you do know I LOVE blue colors. So I had to create a 2nd card using some blue shades!

I stamped the main image with Jet Black, added layers using Ocean Waves and Dusk ink pads. For the splatters, I chose the Ocean Waves Ink Spray. I really love how this turned out!

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set as well, just to the left of the focal point. Kept the rest of the card super clean.

I hope you enjoyed two cards I shared today! What is your favorite product from today’s release? Share your pick with me by commenting below! You will be automatically entered into a giveaway!
