My favorite embellishments to use are a tie between buttons and twine. I love how the addition of twine can be simple and add so much at the same time! I also just think buttons are adorable! 🙂

Awesome giveaways! I use that same storage solution for my beading supplies. As far as your question goes, I guess my favorite embellishment tends to follow the trends. That would be sequins and glitter right now. But I do still like and use the goodies from past trends like buttons, ribbon, twine and rhinestones.

I actually like buttons, but since I mail out most of my cards, I tend not to use them very often. I’ve not jumped on the sequin bandwagon quite yet because they never look right to me (I love how they look on your cards, however.) So I find myself using glimmer mists or Wink of Stella or Liquid Pearls — some shine or sparkle without the bulk. I also will use ribbon or twine without big bows or knots.

Thanks for the giveaway. And congrats again on the accomplishment!

    30/60 Today’s Color - Manganese Blue Hue

This textury, lovely color is the last blue pigment I selected for the custom palette. You can see there are lots of granulation going on and how clean the lifting is. Lots to love about in this color 💕

    29/60 Today’s Color - Cerulean Blue, Chromium

Check out the granulation on this color! Don’t you just loooovveee the texture? This is a very fun one to work with, I just love this color and its gritty look 💙

    28/60 Today’s Color - Phtalo Blue

Here is a beautiful blue shade to get rid of anyone’s Monday blues! 😂 I definitely needed a quick eye break to see this lovely color from today’s craziness. Hope your week is off to a wonderful start! 💙

    27/60 Today’s Color - Verditer Blue

Last color of February (can you believe its March already? 😱) Ending the month with another blue color from my custom palette - and I have a couple more blues to share before heading to the next color family 😉 This one was little tricky to move around with its granulating property, i had to layer quite a bit to get the intense look. But the lifting was oh so easy with this color! Hardly any staining.

#nicolescards #scrapsandstamps #danielsmithwatercolors #danielsmithwatercolor #danielsmithartistsmaterials #escodabrushes #watercolor #watercolorswatches #floralwatercolor #watercolorswatching #colorswatching
    26/60 Today’s Color - Cobalt Blue

This has to be one my all time fav from the Daniel Smith collection. Look at the rich, bold color with wonderful granulation. Can’t get enough of this! 😍

#nicolescards #scrapsandstamps #danielsmithwatercolors #danielsmithwatercolor #danielsmithartistsmaterials #escodabrushes #watercolor #watercolorswatches #floralwatercolor #watercolorswatching #colorswatching
    25/60 Today’s Color - Ultramarine Blue

Look at this bright/bold blue hue 😍 I am so in love with this shade and the granulation it has. While staining is very minimal, you’ll be able to get a rough feel texture with this and take advantage of the granulation effect!

#nicolescards #scrapsandstamps #danielsmithwatercolors #danielsmithwatercolor #danielsmithartistsmaterials #escodabrushes #watercolor #watercolorswatches #floralwatercolor #watercolorswatching #colorswatching
    23/60 Today’s Color - Indanthrone Blue

This lovely dark, cool blue reminds me of a deeper layer of ocean. A bit of navy blue and a hit of royal blue well mixed. It is super easy to create transparent layer with this color, and the staining is very minimal 💙

#nicolescards #scrapsandstamps #danielsmithwatercolors #danielsmithwatercolor #danielsmithartistsmaterials #escodabrushes #watercolor #watercolorswatches #floralwatercolor #watercolorswatching #colorswatching
    23/60 Today’s Color - Mayan Dark Blue

This color totally reminds me of whales! 🐳 🐋 (thus it fitting perfectly to my brush holder prop!) This deep, rich, intense dark blue would be wonderful for expressing depths and shades 😍

#nicolescards #scrapsandstamps #danielsmithwatercolors #danielsmithwatercolor #danielsmithartistsmaterials #escodabrushes #watercolor #watercolorswatches #floralwatercolor #watercolorswatching #colorswatching
    22/60 Today’s Color - Indigo

Im so excited to finally see blue colors! (If you know me well, you know im a sucker for color blue 😍) First up, lovely dark blue, Indigo 💙
