Hi guys! How about some fun rainbow colors for today’s project? I meant to share this sooner but I made some changed in my office/studio and had to do some finishing touches to make it work perfectly. (You know I love to be a perfectionist when it comes to my office!!) If you want to see a quick overview of my updated studio, click HERE! (you can also see it on my Instgram)
Anyhow, I got to play with some fun flower petals over the weekend. I used the Pretty Petals Die Set from Top Dog Dies for this card. This die is filled with fun patterned flowers (6 of them!) and you can mix and match to create a fun look. I cut them out with Neenah Solar White and used the Loew Cornell Watercolor Set to bring them to life. I used two shades for each color to give an in-dept look. This makes the flowers to look more realistic in my opinion.
To make flowers look even more alive, I used my finger to fold each petals lightly. This also give them a 3-D look and creates fun dimensions on the project. The pictures don’t show very well, but I used the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen on the red and blue flower (two biggest flowers) to give a subtle shine.
If you want to pop out the colors on the project, use clear or white embellishments. You can see here I used some clear sequins and white enamel dots. You can create this look easily! Take out your flower die and give it a try!! Now I am off to film some more project for later this week and next week. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
