Hello! I have been a bit quiet on my blog lately – it has been so crazy! We are selling our house and oh my, what a process it is! Both exciting and bittersweet, and we shall see if it gets enough love to be sold soon! Anyhow, after a couple weeks of dealing with this craziness I finally had some time today to fully focus and have fun creating.

How about this fun color bursting card? The result is so deceiving – it makes you think “oh, it must be so hard to do this!” but nope, it is so simple and fast. Let me share how to create this card in the video below!

If you watched the watercolor comparison video I did couple weeks ago, you are probably familiar with the Peerless Watercolor Sheets. This is an awesome watercolor medium to have, if you are into doing watercoloring on your products often. Worth. Every. Penny. It provides various color shades and is packed with lots of pigment so you only need very little to add colors to your project. I have the Complete Collection and Bonus Pack and they are more than I can use for a long time. If you never tried, I highly recommend starting with the Complete Pack and add on from there.

I also LOVE this “Thanks” font from Winnie & Walter’s The Big, The Bold and You Stamp Set. This handwritten, brushed-look sentiment is so grate I just had to use it! There are also lots of small sentiments you can mix and match so you can use the stamp set for lots of different occasions.

I hope you will take some time to watch the video tutorial – and try this technique this weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Awesome card! I just ordered some Peerless yesterday so I can’t wait to try them out. Found your Peerless swatches so plan to use those. Thanks!

  3. Nicole, your card is gorgeous and the video was great! Very easy to follow along, and the thanks is striking against that vibrant watercolor background. Thanks for inking us up. You may also want to link it up on our Join in to Win page on our blog. 🙂 Julie
