Happy Monday! There is no better way to start the new week with full of inspiration and fun giveaways, right? I am so excited to be joining the Celebrating Parents Card Drive Blog Hop by Altenew!

Altenew is currently running a wonderful card drive called Celebrating Parents. It is a great way to add smiles on the faces of those who could use extra love on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. What a great cause! You can check out more details on the card drive HERE.

To make this a bit more extra special, Altenew released THREE brand-sticking-new stamp sets today. I created today’s card using two of those stamp sets and it was so much fun. And, Altenew will be donating 20% of profits from these stamps to a nursing home to help those in need. So all and all, you take part in this awesome campaign by purchasing those wonderful stamps!

I get a lot of emails asking what would be some easy and simple ways to add watercolor without having a good watercolor skill set. Today’s project was created in hopes of giving an idea for those looking for worry-free ways to add loose watercolored look on their creations. You can watch the video below to see how this cards comes to life!

The tutorial I am sharing today allows you to get more out of your dye inks, especially the ones that are water-based just like Altenew Crisp Dye Inks! Another thing that is great – these inks come in color shades that coordinate with each other, there is no need to color-guess! You can simply choose two or three of these shades to create easy color combo for watercoloring.

Simply let the water do the work and allow pigments to dance around. Your project will be a work of art in no time! Next stop on the blog hop is Sveta Fotinia. Make sure to stop by and leave her some love!
