Hello! Gold and Silver have been calling my name for the past couple weeks – I’ve been really getting into metallics for some reason. I played with new watercoloring mediums this week from Shimmerz Paints and wanted to share them with you.

I played with Inklingz metallic mediums for today’s project – Niner, Niner, 49er (nice, gold color) and Gosh Garnet (wonderful dark copper color).

These come in as a hard pen in a plastic jar so before you start your project, add few drops of clean water to activate them. The longer you let the water mix, more opaque they are going to be. If you want more transparent look, add more clean water and control the intensity!

I love how shimmery these are and the fact that they are super fine giving you a really sophisticated look. Shimmerz Paints also carries lots of colors with shimmers in their collection so don’t forget to check them out!

**Wonderful owner of Shimmerz Paints, Stacey, sent me these products to try. Thank you, Stacey!**
