Hi! There have been lots of new stamp sets that are coming out withย multi-step stamping features. Some of my favorite multi-step stamps are from Altenew, Hero Arts, Simon Says Stamp, and Wplus9. Those are for another video for later – For today, we are going to look at some of my favorite Ink Pad Color Combinations for these kinds of stamps.

– It is very interesting to see how different brand’s ink pad collections can work together so nicely. As long as you mix and match ink pads with same properties, like dye inks, pigment inks, and chalk inks, you will get very cool looking results every time you mix up new color combinations.

– This is another great way to stretch out your ink pads. By paring them with another brand’s color palettes, you give them a new lift and purpose. So dont be afraid of taking them out and trying them together.

– I basically chose colors from the rainbow color scheme – from Red to Purple and you can create your own cheat sheets and refer them as needed. Very easy and fun to do!!

Below are close up photos of my favorite ink combinations. On the right side of each strip, you will be able to see the names of ink pads I used. ** Click each picture to see a larger photo **

  1. Fantastic video. Love how you combined some of my favorite inks! Thanks for always sharing your talent!

  2. Thanks for all the inspiration to do this myself! I love these multi-layered stamps, but it always takes too much time to find the right inks. Now I will use them more, too!
