Happy Tuesday! Watercolor gradation could be one of the most fun watercolor technique in my opinion. Even if you are a brand-new watercolorer, you can easily enjoy this as you will be able to get amazing results every time and understand the colors better.
I played with two different stamp sets from Honey Bee Stamps, and even those these two stamps have completely different sizes of images, they both can add a wonderful background to your projects.
To add colors, I used Gansai Tambi Watercolor 36 color set. This has a wonderful selection of color shades and would make a great investment if you are looking to upgrade your watercolor medium collection.
For this card above, I used only one shade of the minty color from the set and created a quick gradation look. All you have to control is the amount of water!
For this card, I used 3 different shades of blues to created blended and shaded look on the detailed background. It is soft yet colorful!
Take out your stamps and watercolor to create some fun cards using this technique!
