Something bold, cool, and fun! This friendship card is great for male or female recipients and super easy to put together! Make sure to watch the video tutorial below to learn how you can make this card.
SCRAPS & STAMPS TIPS:
– Washed look on the background paper adds fun, vintage feeling to the card. I wanted something busy so the small focal point would pop out easily. This fun background paper with chevron pattern is from the Etcetera Designer Series Paper (#130129). If you love the washed out look or looking for unisex colors/patterns, make sure to grab this paper set!
– The focal point is pretty simple – I added three different stamps from the Postage Collection Hostess Stamp Set (FREE with your $150 order!) and stamped it with Old Olive Ink Pad (#126953), Baked Brown Sugar Ink Pad (#131174), and Night of Navy Ink Pad (#126970).
– To pop out the stamped images, I used Deco Labels Framelits (#130102) and used the smallest framelit to cut out the main point. Then, used the Baked Brown Sugar Ink Pad again to ink up the edges of the die cut to add some more color and depth to the card.
– Other dressing up touches are easy! Wrap some of the Natural Linen Thread (#104199) around the background paper, add couple of Naturals Designer Buttons (#127554), and clip up an arrow shaped clip from the Hung Up Cute Clips (#129389).
Thanks for watching today’s video! I hope you enjoy the card we are making today. 🙂
