Today’s Start-to-Finish project features multiple stamp sets that you can make it work together. Also, combine Christmas product with non-Christmas products to create something totally different.
I got to play with some fun goodies so let’s get started! Make sure to check out the Tutorial Video for STF on the bottom of this post.
SCRAPS & STAMPS TIPS:
– Use Christmas patterns for non-Christmas Cards – I used Season of Style DSP Stack (#132181) from the 2013 Holiday Catalog to create a background for the card. It doesn’t have to be a Christmas card for you to use holiday products. Think outside the box, combine different colors and make it work! This card can definitely be used for any gender of recipient. Adding bits of dark colors to pop out your main color is also a great way to bring attention.
– I used three different stamp sets for this card: Gorgeous Grunge (W#130514 C#130517), Teeny Tiny Wishes (W#128748 C#127802), and Show and Tell #1 Photopolymer Stamp Set (#133450). I used 2 of the Teeny Tiny Wishes Set greetings to make it work and to fit on the ribbon banner. It is always fun to find out that I can make totally different stamp sets together!
– To pop out the main area, I used Crushed Curry Ink Pad (#131173) with an image from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set and stamped on the center area of the layer. Then, I used Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad (#126966) to stamp greetings. I love vibrant and bright colors in the card!
– To finish the card, I used Natural Linen Thread (#104199) on the bottom and tied a quick bow.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy today’s project! Have an awesome week, everyone!
