Happy August 1st! Today I am sharing a project for a special occasion. You all know that I am a huge fan of Inspired By Stamping products. Joanna, the owner of IBS is going through some tough time at the moment and the girls from IBS Design Teams wanted to cheer her up with a surprised blog hop!
Joanna, I hope this blog hop reminds you that you are a wonderful person and everything will work out for the best!! I am here for you, you know where you find me! You are a strong person with full of love for others. xoxo
One of my most favorite stamp sets EVER from IBS is this Watercolor Sentiment Stamp Set. And I thought this stamp set is perfect for this blog hop, hoping this card will encourage not only Joanna but all those who are struggle at the moment.
I stamped the sentiment from the set using tone-to-tone stamping technique and created a background on a card base. Tone-to-tone can be easily achieved by stamping the image with a same color as a cardstock. If you do not have coordinating ink pads and cardstock, use Versamark ink pad to create the same look.
For the focal point, I used a piece of vellum and embossed the same sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink and Clear Embossing Powder. I also added few of Sparkling Clear sequins as well. I used Kooltak clear foam tape for the vellum, you can still see them a bit, but I think it’s okay.
Hope you enjoyed my project! To check out other projects for the hop, please visit Inspired By Stamping Blog and leave some love for other amazing team members!!
