I am very excited to be featured at Mary’s Stampin’ Pretty Blog as a guest stamper today. I am so glad you stopped by. There is a Blog Candy below so make sure to check it out as well!

Today I am showing you a card that is simply put together with a Blending Pen technique.

I used For the Birds Stamp Set from our New 2012-2013 Catalog. This set is super versatile and easy to use on any occasions. I love using the Stampin’ Up!’s Blending Pen to give a soft but pop-out effect on my projects. It is very easy to use and control the intensity of the colors you are using.

Scraps & Stamps TIP: Use any colored Stampin’ Up! Marker and put the color on our clear block. I use brush side tip of the marker to make the transfer easy. Use the Blending Pen to pick up the color, start from  the area you want the most intensity and move in/out from there. I started with the edge of the stamped image and moved inward with the pen for soft color transition.

I launched brand new Card Kit of the Month program on July 3rd. As I celebrated my birthday yesterday, a lucky winner will be receiving this month’s Card Kit of the Month!

You get to put together beautiful cards below and learn how to maximize your stamp set. Many different discounted kit options are available as well- Find out more about the Card Kit of the Month HERE.

Simply leave comments on this post below. Please tell me what stamp set you want to see being used in the future Card Kit of the Month! I will announced the winner this Wednesday.
