Let’s start our Thursday with Pals Paper Art’s Color Challenge. If you are looking to challenge your creativity and get yourself out of the comfort zone, our Pals bi-weekly challenges are perfect for you. It surprises me how much I struggle to come up with something when participating in them. It helps me grow my creativity every single time!
I originally inteded to create something warm-feeling cards, as the provided colors represent warmth, but my result came out totally unexpected. It gives me more of a bright and strong feeling. But I do love it!
– Cool effects on Very Vanilla card stock is created by using the Color Spritzer. I have been very into misting and cool effects lately, so I wanted to use the tool more. Color Spritzer is cool because you can use our Stampin’ Up! Markers to create just as good effects like using spray mists and re-inkers. If you are in a hurry and don’t want to get your fingers all inked up, this is going to be your best friend!
– Cute sentiments are from our spring catalog hostess stamp set called Stack of Wishes. I just got this stamp set yesterday and loving it already! Get it for FREE with your orders!
– Colored pearls? They are super easy to create! Some use Sharpies to color them, but you can use Stampin’ Up! makers to coordinate with the rest of your project. To make sure the colors don’t smuge, you would want to finish it with the clear nail polish. I used Primrose Petals maker on these Basic Jewel Pearls.
