Hello! Today is the last day of Newton’s Nook Designs April Release blog hop. All the stamp sets we’ve shown you will be available tomorrow, April 17th for you to purchase!
Today we are revealing “Garden Whimsy” Stamp Set. It fits the spring theme perfectly and will be great for creating spring themed or gardening theme cards!
I decided to take out the bunny image from the set and create a very simple card. My friend loves to garden and she always makes me smile so I thought this one would be perfect for her.
I chose few Copic markers to color in the image and used the “flicking” motion to get those grasses going on the background. I cut out the main piece with a stitched day from Lawn Fawn and adhered the card front onto a soft min colored cardstock.
I think the bunny image is so darn cute! And I love that it is holding a flower pot, perfect for any spring theme cards. I think this image is great for sending you love, thinking of you, or sympathy cards. The options are limitless!
I hope you enjoyed hopping along for the past couple days to check out the new stamp sets from Newton’s Nook Designs. I will be sharing more projects using the April releases, so stay tuned!
