Hi, guys! Thank you for hopping along with us. Today I am featuring a CAS Valentine’s Day card you can WOW any recipient, using some awesome dies from the Top Dog Dies. With a minimal effort you can create many different versions of cards and I hope to share more variety cards using the same dies, so make sure to check back regularly. Oh, and there is a GIVEAWAY so make sure to read through this post!

For a main canvas background, I used the Heart Mini Album Finishers Die Set. This die has two shapes of big hearts and small element dies so you can use it for layouts, albums, cards, and more! I took out some gray patterned paper with white hearts and chose the scallop heart die from the set. The die will give you a soft edge when you cut it out and add a nice texture to your projects.

To pop out the focal point, I cut out some red cardstock with the Vintage Alphabet Die to create “LOVE” sentiment. I really like how elegant and sophisticated these alphabets are shaped. I wanted to pop the sentiment out more, so I adhered them with some foam adhesives. Aren’t they lovely? To finish off the card I wrapped around with a backer’s twine (you know I am a big sucker for any baker’s twin!) that has a bit of brown shimmer, I thought this would go well with the rest of the color theme.

How about a fun giveaway? One lucky winner will get the Top Dog Dies Heart Mini Album and Heart Mini Album Finishers Set (valued at $42) – awesome goodies! Make sure to head over to the Top Dog Dies Blog and enter to win.

  1. This is simply beautiful. Love the clean and classy look to it. The bright red letters just pop with the subtle, neutral background. Wonderful card. I love it.

  2. LOVE your LOVE card Nicole!!!

The colour combo is a DELIGHT and your offset, trimmed heart really highlights the sentiment!!! THANK YOU for the inspiration 🙂
