I created a elegant looking, fun love card. I always like to have a handful of cards saying “love” so I can send them to my friends and family. Sometimes it is nice to just drop a card for them so they know I am thinking about them. The Classique – Elegant Paper Collection by Authentique is really pretty and beautiful, it is filled with lots of vintage, feminine, masculine, and awesome patterns. There are also some letter sticker sheet and other elements sheets as well. Great value!
Have you gotten the Camera Finishers Die Set yet? Top Dog Dies rocks at creating cute, well-put-together dies and this is one of them. I love just how easy it is to create focal points using the elements from the set. I cut out some cardstocks using the 3 slot photo shaped die and the heart die. You can add multiple sentiments, elements, flairs, and stickers on each slot to create different accents for your projects. It is also perfect for a scrapbook layout!!!
I popped out each element (photo die cut piece, heart, and the sentiment) with foam adhesives to give more dimensions to the card. Since the background paper has busy pattern and is black and white, I used bright colors for the focal point to make them stand out easily. Another tip, if you have letter stickers and want to use them on a busy card (like I did here), adhere them on a white cardstock strip to make sure that they are easy to read. Add a bit of shadow using some gray colored makers on the letter as well.
