I wanted to create a simple but super fun card using the January Ribbon Club Assortments. There are lots of ribbon to choose from (and they are totally budget friendly!) this month to create love cards or feminine cards. As we are approaching Valentine’s Day, I thought a cute love card would be appropriate for today’s post.

I added multiple strips of ribbons on top of the card base to create a adorable background. You would want to choose different patterns and shades to create interests when making a card like this. Make sure they are light enough to pop out your focal sentiment or image.

On top of the cardbase, I added a layer of same white cardstock and die cut a circle. This way the background ribbon will show nicely – and added a dark red die cut sentiment. I only stamped a quick greeting on the bottom because I did not want to take the attention away from my main point. Leaving the card simple and clean is a perfect way to capture your center area.

Thanks for hopping with us today! I hope you enjoyed my project. Make sure to hop along to the next stop,ย Cherly’s blogย to see what she has created for us! And don’t forget to enter to win this adorable January Ribbon Club Assortmentย & our RRR Blog’s 4th Birthday Give Away as well!
