Hello! Today features Day 5 of our 2014 Holiday Card Series. We are going to continue with some Copic marker coloring with today’s card. I used this cute reindeer image from the Winter Friends Stamp Set. This stamp set is filled with cute and adorable image that are great for Copic coloring or any other coloring techniques.
I used Black Licorice Hybrid Ink Pad to stamp the image and colored it with E31, E33, E39, E37, R20, R17, and R24. You can see how I colored it with those markers and how I put together this card in the video above. When working with a busy background paper like I used in this card, I like to bring attention to the main image by giving some white background around it. This stitched circle cutout is easily achieved by using the Stitched Circle Stax Die from MFT. I love how the stitch line is right up against the edge of the circle, giving more room to work with other elements.
Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen is currently my “go-to pen” for subtle glitter effect. I am sure I will need to take a break from it later on, but for now, I have been loving it and using it almost every single project I create. It is so addicting! If you want more dimension to the reindeer, I suggest using Glossy Accent around its nose for a fun, added dimension.
