Alright, enough of housekeeping items, let’s dive into today’s project! This card was so much fun to put together and very easy to do so, I am sure you are going to love creating one too!
Don’t you just love the dimensions and depths this card provides? This was created with just a couple of products and can be assembled in no time. It is very fun as well! And, for this card, you only need to stamp the sentiment! Isn’t that amazing? I will share more details below as we check out the close-up photos of the card.
First up – Background. I wanted something clean and white. So on a piece of white cardstock, I added embossing paste pattern using the Classy Stripes Stencil. Once it was fully dried (15-20min), using the Antique Silver Ink Spray I added a few drops/splatters onto the white cardstock piece. This will provide a wonderful background for today’s card.
Now, let’s talk about the flower piece. This beautiful flower was created using the Fantasy Floral 3D Die Set – It cuts out various layers for you to put together a flower with depths and dimensions. It is very realistic as well! These dies fit the cutting plate size of the Min Blossom Die Cutting Machine perfectly, so you can quickly cut these out without having to deal with a big die cutting machine.
To create a flower with my favorite colors, I prepared a customized cardstock using pieces of Neenah Solar White 80lb Cardstock, Cool Summer Night Markers, and Green Fields Markers. By quickly adding colors to a white cardstock, you now have your own colored cardstock that coordinates perfectly. Use some foam dots to put these together, like I did here if you are wanting more dimensions.
Leaves were also cut out using the same die set, I cut out some in green colored cardstocks using the Green Fields Markers, and cut out a piece using a vellum cardstock.
Rest of the card comes together pretty quick! I stamped the sentiment using the Label Love stamp set in Jet Black ink, cut it out and adhered it on the bottom left corner of the card along with the flower focal point. A couple of clear drops and sequins were used to dress up the area as well.
What did you think of today’s card? I hope you enjoyed the card I have prepared to share today, and hope you take out those awesome 3D layering dies to create your own flowers!
