Happy Wednesday! Today is a wonderful day because we get to celebrate Altenew’s newest release! Brand new stencils, ink sprays, and washi tapes – there is something for everyone. And I am so excited to be sharing a fresh project with you!

I am joining a special blog hop to celebrate this release along with many great designers. There is an abundance of awesome inspirations and giveaways, so make sure to scroll down till the end of the post! If you are coming from my dear friend Rubeena’s blog, you are on the right track!

Today’s project is super simple for you to put together. This card features the Leaf Burst Stencil, along with the Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray and the Thinking of You die (one of my new favorites!). I simply placed the stencil over a Neenah Solar White Cardstock (80lb) and added a bit of Embossing Paste mixed with the Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray. Adding embossing paste mixture to your project is super easy, use a crafting spatula and you are good to go!

A bit rough and messy look was what I was going for, so I added lots of embossing past onto the project. If you want it to be a bit cleaner, just go over the stencil lightly with your spatula and embossing paste mixture.

Once I lifted the stencil, I went over the card layer area once again with the Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray by spraying directly on to the card layer. This way, the gold embossing paste mixture gets more intense, where the rest of the area gets light shimmer of gold.

Once that was done, I cut out the sentiment using the Thinking of You Die with Jet Black Cardstock and added directly on top of the stenciled area. Make sure the embossing paste is fully dried before adding your focal point.

Super simple, right? You can totally create this card! I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Make sure to get your hands on those brand new products and get crafty!!
