Happy Friday! Today’s post is perfect for celebrating Fridays, because CAS-ual Fridays Stamps just released brand-stinking-new products!

We are celebrating this release with a special blog hop and I am so honored to be a part of it. Are you ready to check out some projects I have to share? Make sure to scroll all the way down because there are fun giveaways as well!

First project I prepared was using the Modern Petals stamp set – It comes with various designs, great for creating backgrounds or focal points! I took out the biggest image from the set and stamp multiple times using three different blue shades of inks. You can see that it goes from light blue to dark blue, creating perfect tone for a male or female.

I also off stamped a bit when working on this background. You can see that the image overs the whole top portion of the card but it covers partially as it moves down.

For the sentiment, I used So Pretty stamp set and heat sent the sentiment with white embossing powder on a black card stock. Natural twine goes really well with a black card stock, so I jumbled up a few strands to create a “mat” for the sentiment, and added few sequins as a final touch.

For the 2nd card I used one of my favorite stamp from the release, Floating. It is so cute! I wanted something warm and colorful for this card, so watercolor background was the route I took. I mixed a bit of yellow, orange, and green colors to set the tone. Any watercolor medium would work for this.

After the background colors were fully dried, I stamped the floral hot air balloons in black ink multiple times using MISTI to get a crisp and dark coverage. I added the sentiment from the set with a bright blue ink for a contrast, added a couple of clear drops for a finishing touch.

I hope you enjoyed my projects! Which stamp set is your favorite from the release? What’s on your wishlist? I’d LOVE to hear from you!! Please share below in the comment section. Next stop on the hop is Kelly, make sure to stop by and leave her some love!
