It is Thursday, which means it is time to play along with Pals Paper Arts! I fell in love with the sketch the moment I saw it and couldn’t wait to get my hands on some new goodies I got. I am excited to share them with you today.

– Play with some new colors for this year – Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate goes really well together. I used Smoky Slate cardstock as a base (4 1/2 x 4 1/2 finished card size) and added some pieces of Bermuda Bay from the Brights Designer Series Paper Collection.

– For the focal point of the card, I used the Simply Sketched Stamp Set (Hostess FREE Stamp Set) with Versa Mark Ink Pad and Tangerine Tango Embossing Powder. I thought a hint of orange would be great to pop out the main image. ย I think this bird is just clean, vintage with dept.

– To add a bit more interest, I added some subtle dots to the main image. ย Does this set look familiar to you? It is from the Welcome Kit of the My Paper Pumpkin. I love how different stamp sets come together so easily.

– This neat banner sentiment is from another hostess set, Banner Greetings. I stamped it with Bermuda Bay and simple cut it out.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you get to play along!
