One of the fun things you do at a convention is swapping cards you made with either your group members or with other stampers throughout the convention period. Stampin’ Pretty Pals group that I belong to swapped on the 1st day of the convention and they were all Fabulous! I will be sharing some of them at a time throughout this moths here.
This is what I made for the Pals swap. It was so much fun! Let’s get to the details.
SCRAPS & STAMPS TIPS:
– I used the fun Six-Sided Sampler Stamp Set (W#130953 C#130956) as a main point for the card. You can see I used the shapes and stamped an image from the set. I created a template using the Hexagon Punch (#130919) and added some colors using the Stamping Sponges (#101610). I will show you how I did this in this week’s Quick Fix Quick Tricks video on Friday.
– Main colors used here are Baked Brown Sugar (#131174), Bermuda Bay (#131171), and Basic Gray (#126981). Sentiment and the main polka dot hexagon image was also stamped with Basic Gray.
– Sentiment is from the Lots of Thanks Stamp Set (W#129687 C#129690). You cannot imagine how many different times I used this set for the greetings. It is so very versatile and never disappoints me. Love it!
– Couple finishing touches: 1) added a strip of Brights DSP Stacks (#130134) on the very bottom of the card to add more Bermuda Bay color. It also adds more interests to the card. 2) added few Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) to add some shines to the card.
