(This is my 2nd post for the day, make sure to scroll down to read the 1st post!) Today is the 15th which means it’s time for another Sparkle & Shine challenge!
We are creating projects inspired by a sketch below:
And below is my take on it:
Black and white can serve as a nice platform for bright colors. I wanted a pop of colors on a card and wanted a busy background to support it wonderfully. So I chose a busy patterned paper with black writings on a white paper, and add a strip of black wash tape on the side.
I took out a Sohcahtoa stamp set from Altenew and stamped different sized triangle using Rangers Dye Inks. The bright colored triangles stand out and catch recipients eye easily. If you love the modern feel, this would be a fun card to create.
After stamping the triangles, I cut out the paper with Inside & Out Diagonally Stitched Rectangular Die from My Favorite Things. This finished look also helps the focal point to pop out nicely. I added Wink of Stella glitters on few triangles and then added Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh on different areas of the card.
Sometimes bright colors can really brighten someone’s day! I hope you will join us and create a fun card using today’s sketch from S&S.
