Happy Monday!! Welcome to a fun blog hop by Top Dog Dies& Scrapbook Circle! We are super excited that you are hopping along with us. If you are following the hop order, you probably came from Stacey Schafer’s Blog. I am so excited you are here!
If you have been a subscriber of my blog, you know I love dies from Top Dog Dies and I was really excited to play with Scrapbook Circle’s amazing kit along with those dies. If you haven’t heard of Scrapbook Circle, make sure to check it out!
I love their mission: “At Scrapbook Circle we are passionate about preserving our family memories. We love sharing daily inspiration and connecting with others who also love to create. We have been creating monthly scrapbook kits for over seven years. Each of our kits includes a custom printable and we have now expanded our shop to included coordinating digital files. We create exclusive items for each monthly kit. We strive to provide you with fresh products every month that inspire you to create.”
Don’t you agree with what they have to say? I also have a discount code and a fun giveaway info on the bottom of this post, so make sure to scroll down to get them! Alright, so let’s start with the project I created for today!
I wanted to share a clean, simple, and easy card that can WOW your recipient. Bold, rich colors will entertain the eyes of the recipient! I used few elements from the Bucket List: April Kit by Scrapbook Circle. Different patterned papers and letter stickers were so much fun to work with. As you can see, the background paper has bright, bold and rich color so you can get a nice color effect for the whole card without putting a lot of effort.
I adore these cute mini butterflies that are part of the Butterfly Finishers Die Set by Top Dog Dies. Check out the outlined cut out parts of each butterfly – By simply folding them in, you can create a fun 3D look that makes these butterflies look alive. I chose softer colored papers from the kit mentioned above to cut out these cute butterflies and adhere them using 3D foam dots. I really love the fact that the dies cut so clean and crisp, which is one thing that I really enjoy about TDD.
For a part of the sentiment, I used the letter sticker that was included in the kit. Since the background paper is super busy, I added a strip of white cardstock and adhere letters to it to help them stand out better. This is my favorite trick to use when using letter stickers on cards. They to help out tremendously.
