As October is fast approaching, we are going to get ready for Christmas projects early! Head start is always good, right? I am going to do a simple card to warm you guys up for the next few week’s 2012 Christmas Series Videos.
First project is a 3-D Ornament Card – I couldn’t resist playing with the Ornament Keepsake Stamp Set and the Holiday Ornament Framelits collection. Having a match die cut set with a stamp set is just a perfect icing on a sweet, sweet cake!
Scraps & Stamps TIP:
– Creating 3D ornament is super easy. All you have to do is stamp the image you want three times, cut them out with the coordinating Framelit die. Fold all of the cut out images in half, attach them to each other and then onto the card. For an easy explanation please watch my video below- It is from start to finish!
– Take advantage of our Paper Piercing Pack! For a very affordable price, you can dress up your projects really easily. I used the Festive Paper Piercing Pack (comes with THREE sheets of MANY shapes!) to give an edge to the ornament.
Scraps & Stamps TIP: How do you like my tail of blings? I wanted to add simple accent on the sentiment and came up with this. I am pretty satisfied with the effect on the card.
