Hey guys! Just popping in quickly to share another hello card using the technique I did yesterday. Lots of people loved the card so I thought I would share another version to give you more inspiration. This is a simple one-layer card featuring couple of dies from Top Dog Dies. And I am sharing a sneak peak for the upcoming new release! Woot woot! Check out the beautiful border die cut used on the bottom of the card. Don’t you just love it? This one is called the Laurel Lace Border Die (available May 9th) and it is really delicate and beautiful. I used couple of Copic markers to add a mint, blue, and dark green color to the card. Copic numbers used on this border die is BG32, BG45, and BG49. I think the BG49 might’ve been too dark, so if you have something lighter than this one, I would say give it a try and see if it would blend well. (see, sometimes I make mistakes too!)
For this lovely sentiment, I used the Vintage Alphabet Die from Top Dog Dies and cut out “hello” greeting. I used B97 Copic marker to add colors to the cut out letters. I wanted something deep and soft to go along with the gradation technique I did on the bottom of the card. It adds a nice soft but dark sentiment that pops out nicely. I didn’t even use a stamp set in this card! You can create an amazing looking card just with the dies you have on hand and with a few markers. Make sure to mark your calendar for May 9th, so you won’t miss Top Dog Dies’ May Release!! Thanks for stopping by! Have a beautiful day~!
