Sometimes we need to cheer up the loved ones when they are down or having a hard time. Sending them a thinking of you card does a great job to let them know we are here for them when they need us. I got to re-visit the Camera Finishers Die Set from Top Dog Dies for today’s card. Each element on this die set is so unique and versatile, you can pretty much use them on multiple cards over and over.
I wanted to pop out the Polaroid frame die with a heart inside as a main point of the card. While keeping the rest of the card clean, I did a “cluster” look for the main part of the card. I like to use this technique since it helps to grab attention when looking at the card. This is my go-to technique when creating a simple, clean card.
To create a background to pop out the Camera Finishers Die, I used a portion of a stencil and added a bit of embossing paste. This gives a subtle dimension and creates a wonderful base for the background.
For the whole card, I decided to go with a pastel tone color scheme. I love how mint, coral, and green-blue color work well together. I use the Camera Finishers Die on 3 different cardstock to create color-coordinating elements. The Polaroid frame is adhered right onto the embossing paste background while those cute hearts were attached using some foam tape for extra dimensions.
I added a bit of Glossy Accent on the hearts for more interest and attached a silver sequin for extra cuteness! Also, small white sequins and big clear sequins are added to bring more attention to the focal point. To decorate the Polaroid frame, I tied a bow with a backers twine and attached using a strong Multi-Medium Matt adhesive.
This card is bound to cheer up a person receiving it – Take out your Camera Finishers Die Set today and create something fun to make your loved ones happy!
