Happy Easter Sunday, everyone! I am back to share the last card I made using one of the new stamp sets from Clearly Besotted. (All of the stamps sets are available for you to purchase today at 3pm PST) And I think the card is perfect for today, as you might be spending some time with your loved and close ones on this Easter Sunday.
Unfortunately (because of my brain not working properly at the moment), my camera didn’t film the whole process of me making the card, so I don’t have a video to share today (boo!). However, I hope you will still enjoy my card!
I wanted to go with lots of colors today and finally used some of the new products I got few weeks ago. The new Distress Ink colors! I took out Abandoned Coral, Cracked Pistachio, and Peacock Feathers Distress Sprays to add pop of colors to these beautiful flowers. Aren’t they just so pretty?
The stamp set I am using today is called Life & Laughter. I love this set because not only the images are so great, but the sentiments are very heartwarming as well. To get these flower bunches, I stamped the image on a white cardstock with Versafine ink and heat set it with Super Fine Clear Embossing Powder from WOW. After that I sprayed them with the Distress Spray Stains I mentioned above. I also added lots of water to mute the colors.
After the flowers were all dried, I used the coordinating die to cut them out. Then I placed them on the card front layer and added foam dots on few flowers to give different dimensions. The main sentiment is also stamped with Versafine ink. It is super easy to put together but I think the result can be really eye catching.
Hope you enjoyed today’s card! Thanks for stopping by.
