**GIVEAWAY** Vellum + Heat Embossing for Elegant Cards

Happy Thursday! It has truly been a busy month and summer, any crafting time has been so precious. And when you get to play with some brand-new products, it’s even more fun and special! Today I am going to share how you can create an elegant card with just a simple few steps and products.

I created this project in celebration of Altenew’s August Stamp & Die release. There are some awesome products for you to choose from and play with! Make sure to check the supplies list below and giveaway details to get your shopping list started!

I think anyone can create elegant and sophisticated cards with just a very few products quickly and easily. One of the stamp sets from this release features these gorgeous, huge flower blooms and it totally stood out to me. This can be a perfect one to reach for when you want to create wedding cards, any feminine cards to for various occasions.

I took out a piece of vellum cardstock to create a focal point for the card, with white heat embossing technique. It creates a very subtle but bold feel when you add a vellum with heat embossing.

To make the flower stand out easily, I chose a light gray cardstock for the card front panel. I added a few sequins to set the tone and added a simple yet lovely sentiment from another stamp set from the release.

To add a bit more refined feel to the card, I drew two white lines vertically and horizontally on the gray cardstock to bring the focus to the flower area. And there you have it! Quick and simple, right?
