Hello! As we are getting ready to say goodbye to the year of 2014, I thought I would share a one last card with you to end the year on a right note. I wanted to share a very simple and quick Valentine’s Day card where you can have some fun with coloring. You can click the window below to watch the full video tutorial as well.
Images that are small yet is packed with lots of fun shapes and greetings are one of my favorites to work with when making cards. I recently purchased this adorable stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shop and oh, I am so happy with it. You can also separate the image from the greeting of the stamp and use each element on different projects. (Who doesn’t want to get more bang for a buck, right?)
As you can see it in the video above, there is no complicated or difficult technique in creating today’s card. Just grab few colors of your choice, a piece of a patterned paper, and a couple of finishing touches should do the trick.
This Guac Love stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shop is so adorable – I simply colored two images with some green color family in Copics and added a bit of brown and red onto the image as well. I used the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush for the faces to add a subtle shimmer. I also added couple of enamel dots right below of the image to match the red hearts.
Simple coloring is always fun and relaxing in my opinion. I hope you get to sit down to do some coloring this holiday weekend! Thank you so much for all of your support in 2014 and I am so looking forward to be sharing more projects with you in 2015. Have a Happy New Year!
