Happy Friday! I am super excited to be joining wonderful design team members for the October 2015 Blog Hop! Altenew just released 12 new wonderful ink pads along with lots of coordinating and stand-alone dies! If you came from May’s blog, you are on the right track. If you know me well, I am a huge sucker for blue. Anything blue is my new best friend – ever since I was young, I loved the color blue. And can you tell I used enough blues for today’s card? *wink* When I found out Altenew’s latest release will include new blue ink colors, I was so stoked and couldn’t wait to play with them.
In today’s video tutorial, you will get a close look at each new ink pad colors and see how well they go together. Altenew’s inks are very juicy, crisp, and doesn’t stain your clean stamp sets as bad as other inks in the market. Their color collections carry different shades which is perfect for stamp layering as well! If you are new to stamp layering, or even stamping, I highly recommend that you get your hand on these and try them out.
I also die cut few flower images and stamp the outline of the flowers with Silver Embossing Powder from WOW. These are so much fun to play with and very easy to work with as well. If you are new to stamp layering, pick up this stamp set and practice. You will find it is so easy to layer these images together.
